Block Incoming Calls:
Launch “Contacts”
Go to “All Contacts”
Select the contact/phone number you want to block
Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and enable “All calls to voicemail”
Unblock Incoming Calls:
Open “Contacts”
Access “All contacts”
Select the contact you want to unblock
Tap “Edit” > “Menu” and disable “All calls to voicemail”
Block Messages:
Open Google Messenger
Select the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number/contact you want to block
Tap “Menu”
Go to “People & Options”
Tap “Block [phone number]” > “OK” to confirm
NOTE: The conversation thread and future messages from the blocked contact will be archived. In addition, notification alerts will be disabled for archived messages.
Unblock Messages:
Open Google Messenger
Tap “Menu”
Go to “Archived”
Select the conversation thread exchanged with the phone number whose messages you want to unblock
Tap “Menu” > “Unarchive”
Tap “Menu” again and access “People & Options”
Lastly, tap “Unblock [phone number]”
Enable Call Forwarding:
Open “Phone”
Tap “Menu”
Access “Settings”
Go to “Call forwarding” (NOTE: this option might not be available if it isn’t supported by the carrier)
Edit or enter the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
Tap “Enable” to confirm
Enable Conditional Call Forwarding:
Launch “Phone”
Tap “Menu”
Access “Settings” > “Call forwarding”
Select to forward incoming calls “When unanswered”, “When unreachable” or “When busy”
Enter or edit the phone number you want to use for call forwarding
Tap “Update” / “Enable” to confirm
Disable Call Forwarding:
Launch “Phone”
Tap “Menu”
Go to “Settings”
Access “Call forwarding”
If necessary, select the forwarding option you want to turn off
Tap “Disable”.
