How To LG Q7+ Backup & Restore Settings

Back up apps

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup.
  4. Tap Backup & restore.
  5. Tap Backup.
  6. Tap LG app data.
  7. Tap START.

Back up contacts

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.
  4. Tap Backup.
  5. Select from the following locations to save your data to:
    • SD card
    • Internal storage
  6. If prompted, sign into your LG Account to continue backup.
  7. Select Personal data.
  8. Deselect the other options.
  9. Expand the Personal data folder and ensure Contacts is selected.
  10. Tap Start to begin the backup. This may take several minutes.
  11. After the backup completes, tap Done.

Back up contacts to SD card

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.
  4. Tap Backup.
  5. Select from the following locations to save your data to:
    • SD card
  6. If prompted, sign into your LG Account to continue backup.
  7. Select Personal data.
  8. Deselect the other options.
  9. Expand the Personal data folder and ensure Contacts is selected.
  10. Tap Start to begin the backup. This may take several minutes.
  11. After the backup completes, tap Done.

Back up media & pictures


From phone

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.
  4. Tap Backup.
  5. Select Media data. Deselect the non-media options.
  6. Expand the Media data folder and make desired selections.
  7. Tap Start to begin the backup. This may take several minutes.
  8. When back up completes, tap Done.

From computer - PC

  1. Connect your phone to a PC using the MicroUSB cable attached to your LG charger.
  2. If prompted, select Media sync (MTP).
  3. On the PC, open My computer.
  4. Right-click the backup file (ending with .sbf) and select Copy.
  5. Right-click location to save backup file to on computer.
  6. Paste the backup file to the PC.

  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.
  4. Tap Restore.
  5. Tap the LGbackup file.
  6. Tap LG app data.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap Restore.

  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.

  6. Tap Personal data.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap Restore

Restore media & pictures


From phone

  1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap the 'General' tab.
  3. Tap Backup > Backup & restore.
  4. Tap Restore.
  5. Tap the LGbackup file.
  6. Tap Media data.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Tap Restore.

From computer - PC
